Access to Music for all Children

We are sad to announce that John Hart, who set up Music Lifeline, died in December 2025. Donations to ensure that his legacy in widening free access to music for all children will continue can be made here to the Hastings Music Festival.

Music Lifeline

Music Lifeline was set up in Rye, East Sussex in to offer free access to musical activities for children in local state schools. We are delighted to announce that Music Lifeline is now owned by Belltree Music Therapy, which will also includes The Music Well, who combined, will expand to offer music therapy services and musical activities for children and adults. Music Lifeline will shortly be launching a new website giving full details of services on offer.

Hastings Music Festival 2026.

Children from 10 state schools in Hastings will perform in a singing showcase in March 2026.
